Musical Monday: ILLumeci

ILLumeci is one of the best Youtube singing sensations of 2010. You may be thinking "What the heck is ILLumeci supposed to mean?" Honestly. I really don't know! All I know is that this trio of fearless females is on their way to fame- even if they aren't so well known. I discovered this group when trying to find a video of Owl City's "Fireflies". Their band came up and I clicked on it, out of curiousity. When I heard the first line, I decided that I liked listening to these guys singing the song more than I liked Owl City singing the song! I highlited the name of the band (ILLumeci) and pasted it into the Google Searchbar. I read up on them and learned that they have their very own original song- "Go 2 War". This song is not accessable through Youtube, but if you want to hear their song, click this link and the first song.

Cody Simpson- Just hearing this name makes thousands of girls worldwide swoon. Watch out Justin: this guy’s catching up to you! After moving from the shores of Australia to the jumpin’ Cali Coast, this blondie is sure to steal hearts (not to mention the stage) when he begins his tour this coming year. It all started out when he was seven and his parents took him to his first guitar lesson. The music teacher spoke to them and told them that little Cody had an ear for music! Cody began a YouTube Channel in 2008, where he posted himself singing popular songs. Only years later, producer Shawn Campbell discovered Cody. Now Cody has produced many hits, including iYiYi feat. GLEE!

Hey guys, Hannah here. Today I'm going to be talking about the upcoming season of GLEE!
To start off, executive producers Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan, and Dante Di Loreto have decided that instead of overdoing the amount of songs in this season, they're going to focus more on the stories of all the characters.
Glee has had some brilliant guest stars, such as Kristen Chenowith, Neil Patrick-Harris, Idina Menzel, Olivia Newton John, and more! This season, Carol Burnett will be starring as Sue Sylvester's mother!

So who is this girl who is sweeping the music world one song at a time? Kesha, or Ke$ha is spunkier terms, is the one who sang Tik Tok and also was a female voice for "Right Around" by Flo Rida. Her full name is supposeably Kesha Rose Sebert and she was born March 1st, 1987. According to her Ryan Secrest interview, at age seventeen she moved in with some dude whom she thought was her dad. It turns out, he wasn't.

And guess what? She was in Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" music video.

She recently came out with a music video for "Your Love is my Drug".

Hey guys! It's been a really long time! I miss writing about my passion and sharing it with the world. I've decided that I need to make a schedule to help me get in the habit of blogging... because you know how life gets in the way. Anyways, I have decided that ever Monday, I will post something like a music video. Mondays are now dubbed Musical Monday!(: Also, every week I will post the top 5 or 10 songs on the Billboards. I think I will do that on Saturdays or Fridays... whatever works out!

Don't own an iPod? Join the club!

Hi again! I would just like to share with the world what I do to listen to music. I don't own an iPod, but I really want the iPod Touch (who doesn't?!?). So the question is, how do I listen to music. The answer is: pandora.com! Most people don't know what Pandora is, but it is an online radio that you personalize to your sense of music. For example, I have a radio station on my Pandora account for music similar to Ke$ha and one for classic rock sounding bands. I really suggest all of you non-iPod owners out there to check out this website!

First and foremost, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Casey and I'm just an average tween. That is if you consider a crazy, playful, stubborn, unorganized, music-loving, computer nerd, Irish dancer average. Yes, you read that all right. I have been Irish dancing for 5 1/2 years and absolutely love it! I created this blog to share my passion of music with the world! That's why the title is live, laugh, listen... because you listen to music! Anyways, I think I should tell you more about myself. I have a little sister and her name is Sarah, she is five years old and has a speaking disorder called apraxia. Mushu is my little Yorkshire Terrier and I love him sooooooo much! He is seven years old and his birthday is September 6th! I also have a mom and a dad, but my dad is currently living in Florida due to his new job.
